CB Mathieu Lamboley
In 2005, Mathieu Lamboley received the Best Original Score Award at the Aubagne Film Festival for the short film Les oreilles n'ont pas de paupières. He is 25 years old, it is his first film music.
He is back in Aubagne, with the second feature film of Pierre Pinaud La Fine Fleur.
Mathieu graduated from the Paris National Conservatory of Music as a pianist and composer and wrote his first movie soundtrack at the age of 25, for which he received an award at MC FIFA. Encouraged by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard who noticed his composing talent, he collaborated with numerous film directors such as Laurent Tirard, Romain Cogitore and Emmanuel Carrère.
In 2019, he composed a symphonic score with 95 musicians and a remarkable choir for Minuscule 2, second opus of the internationally awarded movie. It was highly acclaimed by the critique and was nominated for a lot of prestigious international awards. For the occasion, he conducted the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France where he fully displayed his talent.
More recently, Mathieu wrote the score of the movies Le Discours, La Pièce rapportée, La Fine fleur, and Netflix’s internationally successful series Lupin.
